Keith Flint (17th September 1969 – 4th March 2019) was an English singer/dancer. He was a founding member and lead singer of the electronic dance act The Prodigy. The group were pioneers of the breakbeat influenced genre big beat, achieving popularity in the 1990s. The release of the single 'Firestarter' in 1996 featuring Keith's vocals for the first time helped the band break into the USA and other overseas markets. In 1997 the group released the LP 'The Fat Of The Land'. It received critical acclaim the world over and it has since gone on to sell over 10 million copies worldwide. On the 4th March 2019 police were called to Flint's home in Essex and later that day the official Prodigy website went black with the announcement of his death.
